In 2025 ECB national programmes have continued to inspire and engage young people within Derbyshire. We have recorded another year in terms of participation taking part in National programmes within Derbyshire.
In 2025 All stars and Dynamos programmes have been available at clubs, schools and in the community.
We are committed to making cricket accessible and removing cost barriers to playing cricket. In 2025, in partnership with the ECB and EDI fund, we provided over 1200 children with funded National Programme places.
We have utilised National Programmes bursary places into a lot of school delivery this year in the form of lunchtime and afterschool clubs.
We have delivered All-stars programmes in 11 schools this year.
We have delivered Dynamos programmes in 18 schools.
We have used National Programmes effectively in schools by aligning with our chance to shine delivery.
A total of 438 bursary places has been utilised withing schools so far.
We are hoping to see lots of the participants progress into cricket clubs in 2026
It was my favourite after-school club. I loved that we got shirts. It made me feel like I was on a team.

After school cricket is the best part of my week.

This year we have hosted 6 National Programmes holiday camps within the city.
The camps had both all-stars and dynamos sessions to attend.
We utilised our ECB funded bursaries to give FREE places to all participants. There was a total of 312 participants across the 6 camps.
It was a real pleasure engaging with the community and bringing cricket closer to those in the inner city through the summer camps across the five parks. It was fantastic to see so many new faces introduced to the game and showing genuine enthusiasm to return and develop their skills further.
