Derbyshire U13 Girls visited Cuckney Cricket Club on Monday 23rd May for two T20 games against local rivals Nottinghamshire.
In the first game, Nottinghamshire proved to be a strong batting side racking up a daunting 174 for 2 from their 20 overs.
Despite a good 26 from Amelie Clarkson and not collapsing Derbyshire eventually finished 90 runs short on 84 for 4.
Derbyshire batted first in the second game and reached 81 for 3 from their 20 overs after a good 4th wicket partnership of 47 runs between Hollie Mayfield (31) and Darcy Kent (18 no at the end).
Nottinghamshire again proved too strong when batting, passing Derbyshire’s total in the 13th over for the loss of 2 wickets.
