ICEC Equity in Cricket

The Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC) was announced in March 2021 by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to evaluate the state of equity in cricket and expose the realities of people’s experiences within cricket.

The ICEC has concluded its examination of the state of equity in cricket and is now closed. The report and recommendations to drive equity, diversity and inclusion forward within cricket is with the ECB for their consideration.

Derbyshire Cricket Foundation (DCF) remains firm in our commitment to ensuring cricket is a game for everyone, and in our resolve that it must be free of discrimination of any typeWe acknowledge the importance of the report released on 27th June 2023 by the Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC), and fully support the commitment of the England & Wales Cricket Board to take action in response to the report.
