ECB Core Coach

When launched, the ECB Core Coach programme will become an entry level qualification for coaching cricket in England and Wales alongside ECB Foundation I Coach. ECB Core Coach will replace the ECB Certificate in Coaching Children’s Cricket and ECB Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults’ Cricket provision.

Who should attend?

Anyone aged 17 and over, wishing to become qualified to coach cricket, inspire and develop players and make a difference to the game.

Commitment

• £300.00
• Eight face-to-face modules lasting 3 hours each including 2 observed coaching opportunities
• Six bitesize e-learning modules lasting 15-20 minutes each
• Multiple choice question assessment
• Short answer question assessment.

Pre-requisites for certification

• 18 years of age (learning programme and assessment can be completed at 17)
• Valid Safeguarding Young Cricketers certificate
• Valid ECB Disclosure and Barring Service check
