Introducing our inaugural Women and Girls Conference 2024 @ The Incora County Ground on Saturday 27th of January.
Transforming the Women and Girls game continues to be a strategic priority for both DCF and the ECB.
Therefore we thought it only right to take the workshop from our annual pre-season volunteer event (Cricket Derbyshire day) and offer a standalone day specifically for the Women and Girls game.
We are going to provide several workshops designed to support the development of Women and Girls cricket and include topics we believe are relevant and important in our efforts to continue to grow the game
This is a great opportunity for players and volunteers across the county to network, share best practice and learn something new ahead of the 2024 season.

| 10.00am-11.00am | Club Facilities, Funding and Projects | A workshop to talk through all things Facilities and Funding for the Women and Girls Game. We will discuss what was found in our recent perception survey, the ECB’s county grants scheme and how it can make your club more welcoming for female use as well as discussing example and best practice projects. |

| 11.15am-12.00pm | Girls Cricket – Creating more teams | A workshop to discuss how Women’s teams can help continue to grow the number of Girls teams in the county. We will cover:
