Derbyshire Cricket Foundation will be taking on the Edale Skyline Walking Challenge on Monday June 23rd.
The team will be taking on this challenging 20-mile route around the spectacular Peak District.
The route will take the team on a high-level adventure across some of the most impressive peaks around the vast Edale skyline.
During the challenge the team will tackle a tough 20-mile walk over some of the Peak District’s most beautiful terrain and Climb over 1,100m of total height gain in order to raise funds to continue to deliver against the DCF purpose to Empower communities and improve lives through cricket.
Every penny raised will make a difference and here’s how a donation can make an impact:
- £10 could fund 3 people attending the DCF’s Monday Mates Dementia Group or Parkinson’s Cricket Project.
- £25 Will support a child to attend a whole day holiday camp
- £30 Can fund a child’s place on a Holiday Activities and Food programme
- £50 Could support the cost of a coach to deliver in a primary school for a whole morning.
- £75 Could fund a child with SEND to attend a day on the Holiday Activities and Food programme
- £100 could provide an Access to Cricket Grant voucher for someone facing financial barriers.
- £500 could help establish a new Walking Cricket Hub in an area not currently served
