Dads, Bats, and Chats

The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation is starting a new project called Dads, Bats, and Chats, a Dad’s support group in South Derbyshire, in partnership with Derbyshire Mind and Derbyshire County Council.

Dads, Bats, and Chats is a group for dads and expectant dads to come together to take part in playing indoor cricket together and chat. Monday evenings fortnightly 7-9pm starting on the 15th of January, at the Midway Community Centre, Swadlincote, DE11 0FF. No need to book or bring any equipment or have any experience in playing cricket before. Just come along!

What the group hopes to achieve:  

1. Provide an opportunity for dads and expectant dads to take part in fun and lively indoor cricket  
2. To create an environment for dads and expectant dads to speak openly 
3. To help build a community for dads and expectant dads 

Time: 7-9pm 

When: Monday evenings, fortnightly

Dates: 15th and 29th January, 12th and 26th February, 11th and 25th March, 8th and 22nd April, 20th May, 3rd and 17th June
