The 4th LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Cricket Conference will be taking place at Derbyshire County Cricket Club on Wednesday 21st May 2025.
This year’s conference builds on our biggest conference at Trent Bridge in 2024. There have been rafts of activity over the last year, and the day will showcase learnings and reflections from several initiatives, including:
- An update from Out4Cricket on the first year of coordinated support work across six first-class and national counties.
- An opportunity to be updated and reflected on the latest trans and non-binary policies and how they will impact participation in the sport.
- Hearing from the community about the impact cricket has had on them.
- Case studies from key counties highlighting their work, its impact, and future plans.
- Discussions on the next twelve months and what more can be done to improve LGBTQ+ inclusion in cricket.
Previous conferences have been thought-provoking and provided leadership and insights, helping to shape the work of Out4Cricket and other stakeholders in the game. This year is sure to be no different.
Come and join us – learn, network and help make cricket the most inclusive team sport in the country.

“LGBTQ+ participation in cricket has continued to grow over the last few years with greater engagement across the game’s stakeholders and within the community. We are excited to be coming to Derbyshire for the 4th LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Cricket conference, where good practice and progress are shared, and plans are developed and agreed upon across the cricket community to continue driving inclusion. Derbyshire Cricket have always been a proactive supporter of inclusion in cricket, and it is great to be working alongside them to deliver this important event.”
