Tuesday March 28th will see the first DCF fundraising event of the year take place in the Legends Lounge at the Incora County Ground.
The evening will involve a Q&A session with Derbyshire CCC Head of Cricket Mickey Arthur as well as Derbyshire CCC players, and promises to provide some insight into the coming seasons preparation and plans. The session will be an interactive with games and a chance to win prizes with a raffle.
The event aims to generate funds to enable the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation to continue to grow its work by reaching into the heart of communities. The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation is a dedicated charity whose purpose is to Empower Communities and Improve Lives through Cricket.
40% of funds raised will go towards the DCF Access to Cricket fund which provides opportunities for more people to access opportunities to be involved in cricket. Grants are awarded to enable people to participate in playing the game or engaging in cricket education programmes. The remaining funds will help delivering projects to help put bats and balls into more hands within the heart of communities across Derbyshire.
Everyone registered to come to the event will be provided with refreshments and there will be a cash bar available for the evening.
