LGBTQ+ Hardball Cricket Festival

Derbyshire Cricket Foundation (DCF) have entered a team into the inaugural LGBTQ+ Hardball Cricket Festival this summer!

This inaugural festival aims to promote inclusion and showcase LGBTQ+ communities in cricket.

Managing Director of the DCF, Richard Wood, said:

“We are excited to enter a team into the first LGBTQ+ Hardball Cricket Festival on the 11th June. We are fully committed to making cricket a game for everyone and we believe cricket can be the most inclusive sport. The festival fully aligns to our purpose of Empowering Communities and Improving Lives and we can’t wait to be a part of it.”

This is where the DCF needs you!

We are looking to recruit members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies to join us for this celebration of inclusive cricket!

The DCF team will be 8-a-side and we want to recruit a wide range of players from different backgrounds and cricketing ability.
