Tuesday September 26th will see the inaugural DCF Golf Day take place at the glorious Morley Hayes course.
The event includes breakfast rolls on arrival, a round of golf with prizes to be won and a 2 course meal. There will be an auction, games and a chance to win prizes with a raffle.
The event aims to generate funds to enable the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation to continue to grow its work by reaching into the heart of communities. The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation is a dedicated charity whose purpose is to Empower Communities and Improve Lives through Cricket.
The funds raised will help delivering projects to help put bats and balls into more hands within the heart of communities across Derbyshire. A proportion of the funds raised will go towards the DCF Access to Cricket fund which provides opportunities for more people to access opportunities to be involved in cricket. Grants are awarded to enable people to participate in playing the game or engaging in cricket education programmes.
