With the new season quickly approaching, we are looking at ways we can support clubs with Safeguarding and Anti-Discrimination within the recreational game in Derbyshire.
With this in mind, we would like to invite all Chairs and Safeguarding Officers to attend one of our Safeguarding Conferences that we will be running in early March.
Topics covered will be DBS’s, Safe Hands Management System, Safeguarding for Specialist Roles, Anti-Discrimination and Listening to Children.
We think this is an important opportunity for clubs to receive support in what we know can be a challenging but vitally important area of cricket. There will also be opportunities for you to provide feedback on how the DCF could further support your club.
The 2 conferences running are:
Monday 4th March – Chapel en le Frith CC – 7-9pm
Wednesday 6th March – Derbyshire County Cricket Club – 7-9pm
