The new Derbyshire Junior League will be going ahead for the 2025 season. This is a big step for junior cricket in Derbyshire which we hope will grow the game. More information will come to clubs in due course.
Part of the new structure is creating a committee that can support the whole league and reduce the burden on 1 or 2 volunteers. We are asking for people to come forward to support the new structure and be part of the committee alongside key people from legacy leagues.
As outlined in the Proposal and Constitution, we believe that a volunteer structure with support from the DCF is the best way forward to maintain the leagues independence. For this to happen we require people to come forward to offer support.
We envisage that each volunteer role will be less time consuming and the DCF will provide support to the committee as and when required.
Below are the committee positions:
