We ran a ‘Have A Go’ girls taster session on Sunday 15th March at Willows Sport Centre. The girls that attended got a chance to practice their skills, play some games and have lots of fun!!
They were also lucky enough to have the chance of meeting England Women’s player, Sarah Glenn, fresh from the Women’s World Cup! Sarah was kind enough to not only help out with the session but also do a quick Q&A with the girls at the end of the session aswell as take pictures and give autographs.
Sarah was joined at the session by Derbyshire Women’s players Lauren Tuffrey, Julia Draycott, and Alicia Shaw to provide a fun afternoon.
