Over a large number of years, our Junior Leagues have provided a fantastic service to clubs and players throughout Derbyshire.
We are keen to grow the junior cricket offer in the county, however, each of our leagues is heavily reliant on a couple of key volunteers and we want to provide more support to these brilliant volunteers.
With this in mind, the DCF with support of the junior leagues, have proposed the creation of one Junior League to service the county, run by one management committee that would have direct support from the DCF.
Consultation has taken place with Junior Leagues over recent months and we now want to get the views of the club network regarding the proposal over the coming months.
Please find a PDF of the proposal for your viewing and to share within your clubs HERE.
We are asking for initial feedback on this proposal via a form that can be found HERE.
After this feedback is collected, the DCF will be holding some open consultation evening with clubs to provide more details.
Dates will be available soon.
