Our Young Volunteer programme is back for the 2024 season!

Half Century Club
A free programme open to all 14–17-year olds who are a member of a Derbyshire based Cricket Club. The programme has been designed to encourage more young people aged 14-17 to volunteer at their cricket club.
We will provide 6 workshops across Wednesday 29th May and Thursday 30th May to give young people the skills and confidence to feel comfortable volunteering at their club.
- All workshops are free to access!
- 9.30am-3.30pm
- Venue: Denby CC
The workshops will be:
- Young Activators
- Young Officials
- Ground Maintenance
- Social Media and Journalism
- Young Voices- It’s your game
- Event Planning
Everyone who attends both days will receive 2 free tickets to the T20 double header between The Blaze vs South East Stars and Derbyshire vs Birmingham Bears on Sunday 16th June.
Young People will then be encouraged to volunteer at their club to earn further rewards:
- Volunteer for 20 hours- 10% off voucher code for Owzat Cricket. (Max £100 total spend)
- Volunteer for 30 hours- 2 free tickets to a Derbyshire CCC One Day Cup Game
- Volunteer for 50 hours- DCF Young Volunteers training top.
