Junior Club Cricket

Over a large number of years, our Junior Leagues have provided a fantastic service to clubs and players throughout Derbyshire.

We are keen to grow the junior cricket offer in the county, however, each of our leagues is heavily reliant on a couple of key volunteers and we want to provide more support to these brilliant volunteers.

The documents have been shared with league committees over the last few weeks for feedback and we have taken views on board to produce these final documents. A reminder that this is currently still at a proposal stage and individual leagues and their member clubs are required to vote on the new proposal for it to go ahead.

We are working with league committees to conduct EGMs when clubs can vote on the proposal. Leagues will be in contact with clubs directly about this over the coming weeks with votes to be held in the North Derbyshire Youth Cricket League, Notts and Derby Border Youth Cricket League, Derby and District Youth League and Erewash Young Cricketers League.

We would ask that clubs read these documents carefully in advance of the EGMs. Please can you share this document with others within your club including team managers and coaches.
